Goethe, Rilke, Schiller, Brecht, Hoffmann, Grass, Heyse, you name it. These authors brought to us some of the best reads in modern history. The Nobel Prize in Literature has been awarded to German-language authors 14 times, or the third most often after English and French-language authors.
The time has come to finally bring Goethe’s “Sommer” on vacation with you. We’re here to help in case you are a passionate reader who would like to read some of the world’s best literature in the native tongue.
