German is ranked tenth globally in terms of native speakers, of which there are around 104 million, but is ranked fourth in terms of non-native speakers who have learned the language. There’s a good chance that knowing German may come in handy while traveling abroad and meeting new people.
Mark Twain famously said that German was too hard to learn in one lifetime, but with the right tools and experienced tutors, you mat flourish in just a couple of months.
